mahantango#1
57 for the high today. This cool, mostly overcast weather sucks. And tonight another frost is likely.
canderson
Spent 5 hours cleaning the gardens. Got sunburnt. 4 yards of mulch put out and a pickup full of dead stuff/weeds/pruned bushes and plants//winter debris.

Spring at it's finest.
WmsptWx
Froze to death this morning/early afternoon as a wonderful feature of being here in the higher lands is the sun was out at this morning at 9:15 and 38°F felt nice. By game time at 11:30 (after pictures and a parade) the clouds and wind arrived and 44°F was unbearable. I fucking hate May.

pawatch
Currently 37 degrees Definitely some unsettled weather. Picked .15.” Of rain Friday. Yesterday cool and windy 24 mph wind gust. I got my coal stove back fired up this weekend. Constant 70 degrees is nice. Smoked a couple of chuck roasts yesterday. Kind of got away from running the smoker over the winter.

Voyager
Yeah, I was quite surprised this morning. It's 38 now, but was 41 when I first woke a 4am. Yes, I'm an early bird and can't sleep in even on my days off.

I was just outside and needed my winter coat because in addition to the cold, the wind had to ramp up as well.
Itstrainingtime
Taking a break from this thread. You all enjoy your complaining. April was a top 10 warmest ever but reading this thread we're in a relentless freezer. Math ain't mathin folks
Itstrainingtime
Actually in Lanco it was the 6th warmest April in like 115 years. Unbelievable.
ChescoWx
Another below normal temperature day on tap today before we see a brief warm up with some valley locations touching 80 degrees by Tuesday before we turn much chillier again by the end of the week. Highs by Thursday through Saturday may struggle to escape the upper 50's. Rain chances increase with a cold front by Tuesday night.
Mount Joy Snowman
Low of 40. Gardening and golfing today. Had a little shindig at our house last night with an obscene number of kids. Currently surveying the damage ha.

I don't need a torch, but I, like most people, don't really want frost and freeze warnings this time of year, nor windy -10+ to -15 daytime departures. Give me 45/65 and I'm quite fine with that. Take out those anonymous near 90 degree days (which even I don't necessarily want in April) and it wouldn't have been.
Voyager
And another thing, and yes, I'm a bit feisty this morning, but what can make this forum unreadable at times isn't the complaining about heat or cold, but the sports (basketball) posts that litter this place up from time to time. Those belong in the banter thread.
