Wow. How much left?

Just the remnant drifts now.  Only the ones that were 2ft+ are left, and they are shrinking fast.  Had a 3.5ft drift between the house and garage that is now shriveled down to a mere 8" deep strip about a foot wide.

MLI hit 77 today.  Tomorrow's record is 82, which should be tied or broken.

Although this month isn’t getting the notoriety of 2012, it’s been pretty warm around here, dating back to mid Feb. In fact, I was surprised by this Facebook post by IND:

”Indianapolis has so far exceeded 70 degrees on 8 days this year, starting with 71°F on 2/18, and led by 79°F on 3/6 and 78°F on 3/20.  This tally is the 2nd-greatest on record through March 20th, behind 2012's record 9 days.  The normal 71°F+ tally by 3/20 is only 2 days.”

With a predicted high of 78 today, 81 tomorrow, and 74 on Thursday, 2026 will set a standard in Indiana for late winter/early spring warmth.

We went from 70 degrees on March 9th to 40-50mph winds on March 13th to freezing rain on the 15th and 10 inches of snow on the 16th to 25 and sunny on the 17th and now 63 degrees yesterday and a forecast of 70 today. One of the craziest March rollercoasters for temps we have had it feels like.
