Curveball warmup (blunted by backdoor trash) before we squeeze out at least one more winter storm that gets pasty snow down to the coast. 2

All of you are more versed than I am. I come from the era when all we knew is that when it’s cold it snows. I remember a 50 ‘s TV weatherman showing the map and telling us that we’d get snow as soon as one of the capital L’s on his map punched into one of the capital H’s. While my dad was telling me … “ forget it, it’s too cold to snow …. That was even before Tex. Stay well, as always ….

Thankfully, because I have too much work to worry about mowing twice a week until May. Also, we have Banana Ball tickets for Yankee Stadium in late-April. I fully expect that game will be 33 with a light mist or 90 with a dew point of 88. No in-between.

I don't know where he lives. I seldom cut the lawn before late April or early May, even in the warmest springs. If I did like I'm told and threw down early season fertilizer, i suppose I might have to cut it earlier. Most years I intend to fertilize twice but only get to it once. Somehow the lawn stays green. Less is more.
