Winter is not over yet IMO - enjoy the next couple of weeks of moderating temps over all - BUT the Polar Vortex split is going to cause winter to return and all that arctic air in Canada to return during the second half of March and maybe into April and I would bet there are at least a couple of snowstorms left in this winter in the Metro

I agree.  Curveball warmup (blunted by backdoor trash) before we squeeze out at least one more winter storm that gets pasty snow down to the coast.

Yes. I like snow but I miss having a catch with my kids on the grass, shooting hoops out front. It’s time for the snow to melt and for people to be able to live again (yes I know some people ski on the weekends)

time to sharpen the hooks and respool the lines....

Maybe you can teach them to read an analog click while you're at it :)

Thank you NSW…. All of you are more versed than I am. I come from the era when all we knew is that when it’s cold it snows. I remember a 50 ‘s TV weatherman showing the map and telling us that we’d get snow as soon as one of the capital L’s on his map punched into one of the capital H’s. While my dad was telling me … “ forget it, it’s too cold to snow ….  That was even before Tex. Stay well, as always ….

Bernadettes

St Bernadette’s actually raffled off a brand new high level ranch house. .. I seem to think that it was on the belt parkway off-ramp street, perhaps 14th avenue. Good memories, like the ones you and the Mrs will create for your little one, as always …

No grass growing anytime soon around here-he must be based in the south

We will be luckily to see it growing by mid-April. Thankfully, because I have too much work to worry about mowing twice a week until May. Also, we have Banana Ball tickets for Yankee Stadium in late-April. I fully expect that game will be 33 with a light mist or 90 with a dew point of 88. No in-between.
