Idk, the Brick storm last year lost 13 inches of snow that went to New Orleans after the thread was created

While we are waiting on the next epic NAM run, the temp. forecast for today really busted in my area.  Was forecast to reach the low 40's at 1PM.  Never made it past 35 and is 34 now with winds gusting to 21MPH.  Brutal outside today.

Well, he was right with the Jan 21-22 storm last year. GFS was the only one showing the snow over central and eastern NC, and then the Euro went NW finally.

Man. That is a really pretty run south of 85 through central Georgia. Raleigh crowd happy. Too bad it’s the NAM

Stronger and better tilt at H5 that time for sure. Would expect a bit more precip to the NW than it showed for the mtns and foothills. Overall a positive move. Maybe a sign that the GFS steps back that direction at 18z as well.
