And I’ve also mentioned this before, these winter only weenies could learn so much more if they were into the weather year round, not the least of which, learning how to find the damn models for starters.

When did Dutchess get the upgrade, just recently I’m guessing? I was shocked to see it for Orange when I woke up this morning.

I might have anecdotal bias here but when I was living in Bergen county those winds just almost never verified for blizzard warnings. It’s rare inland. I definitely think we’ll hit the criteria here in JC.

While we upgraded to a blizzard warning, Hudson Valley Weather (HVW) put out a high bust statement given the GFS model having the low further east.

Gfs does it consistently ticking east last min. 

HRRR keeps ticking a bit west.

So what would have them expand warnings and increase totals  when the GFS being east and mesos were getting others into panic mode,,, is it the Hrrr or something else any guesstimates as to why  ?

Zero shot we verify. But the conditions will almost certainly be present at least on and off.
