I had 1" before the wind. It snowed steadily from 8pm until around 9am. The town plow actually came by twice, once to slush things up and then a while later to scrape the shit into my driveway at 25mph. Fuggers...

I just walked out to the Saugerties lighthouse - their station is at 8F with 44 mph gusts. I could only stand being on the water for a few minutes before it really started to suck

Measured 1.5” of snow from overnight. I have 13.5” of snow on the ground. All powder too, a stark contrast to the icebergs down in the city.

0 was the low here, meh as I expected with the winds. Deep winter though.

The car read -4° 5am this morning.  I drove to the city and didnt reach zero until Yorktown Heights on the Taconic which i have never seen.  Usually it's significantly colder at the house and temps rise about 15 degrees before I get to the job. The temp read 5° in Harlem which is impressive.

Tomorrow morning should be our morning but I've made that prediction before and conditions didn't always work out. Let's see if winds get calm and the skies stay clear tonight.

Had to shovel the driveway this morning. The inch that fell blew into tyebwalls of snow along the driveway and whatever blew around yesterday just acculturated there.
