Still crunchy slippery stuff around. Fell once and looked like an idiot twice but caught myself so total idiot adverted.

If Ji didn't punt winter yet I'm still in. Oh wait, snap, it's not even winter yet.

49F, rain on the way and a constant flow of mucus/blowing nose 24/7...

Everyone ready for the rain and wind? ;)

Big fan of cool/cold rain and wind. I point and giggle when neighbors stuff gets blown all around, they usually don't like my reaction/response. Drought guy will probably make a appearance as well....happy times.

I seen so much wind this year== whats another day.  I am waiting for the flash freeze from a dusting of snow to appear by tomorrow evening.

Big fan of flash freezing with a coating of snow on top. Makes things very difficult to drive and walk, big fan!

The past two years have been the most windiest period in my lifetime. Seems like at one point every day there's wind gust or an extended all day period....

More patience dude it's going to take longer then that to clear out the massive West Coast troughing forcing ridging in the east

Brother, patience isn't even enough. Admittedly, I prematurely extrapolated. We are in dire trouble thru MLK day at best. I will check back after the New Year. Wishing a happy holiday to all you guys and gals.

Over 0.50" of rain has already fallen here in East Nantmeal with as much as another 0.50" possible for some areas. We have already reached our high for the day of 56.6 just before 6am. Temperatures have fallen over 6 degrees since then and will continue to fall into the 30's by 4pm and freezing by 6pm. Lows tonight will fall to near 20 degrees and highs tomorrow only in the mid-30's. Temperatures will be near normal in the low 40's pm Sunday before falling back to below normal levels through Christmas Eve day. There is a chance of some snow by Tuesday morning that could be mixed with rain further south across the area.

Models have been hinting pretty good wrt to the Dec 28-Jan 2 period for almost a week already, albeit off and on. But now we're are seeing a growing signal across the ens means as well as an NAO blocking signature emerges from Scandinavia. Hunches dont get us winter storms, but instinct is suggesting this is a legit trackable window.

We can’t have nice things.

Approaching 1.10”. Already reached my high of the day at 57F, now down to 53F. Snowpack wiped out!

What a temp swing this week.  I had bottomed out Tuesday morning at 15 (which was colder than Monday's 17 low) and am currently coming down off a 58 just ahead of the gust front/cold front.  Even got some texts from my sisters when that came through and their descriptions of "like a hurricane" and "that was pretty bad".

Currently in a precip hole with 1.90" in the bucket (but another round is incoming) and temp is down to 51 with dp 51.
