Low of 42 here with .03" of rain.  Another new one today, as the national low of 15 comes from Grantsburg, WI.  Looks like that rain tomorrow night should be moving in right as the Hempfield vs Manheim Township playoff game kicks off.  Rats.  Me and a buddy were thinking of taking our boys to the game.  Not sure now.

A year ago, today we saw record high temperatures across the area with temperatures in the 80's for many spots. Today we will see readings about 30 degrees cooler than that with highs mainly in the lower 50's. Some frost and freeze potential for especially valley spots tonight before we start a gradual warming trend through the weekend. We then turn sharply colder Sunday evening with a widespread hard freeze across the area by late Monday evening. We could even see some snow flurries later Monday. Our best shower chances look to be Friday night.

We’re in NYC and hope there it holds off until midnight and is out by Saturday mid am.

With the big warm up inbound later next week I'd really love to hold off on turning the heat on until we get into a more consistent colder weather pattern. Monday/Tuesday next week will be a challenge to accomplish that. Though, only one night of sub-freezing temps are expected locally.

My temperature is really dropping off quickly tonight. Already down to 36 at 9:30 pm. I could be on the way to my coldest morning yet of the season.

My coldest so far was 28.0 on 11/7. So far this morning, at 3:30am, it's 28.2

Another hard frost this morning and 25 degrees. I hope soon it kills these yellowjackets. I killed 3 of them  2 days ago in the afternoon around my porch area. And i was in the yard with my mower and I seen a few flying around,

Clouds rolled in overnight, so I only got down to 31 this morning for my low.

Low of 31 with some light frost around. Believe this is my first subfreezing temp of the season. Tomorrow looks gorgeous.

The NWS has terminated the growing season across the entire area as most spots have now seen freezing or frost conditions this season. The only exception remains the highest spots in our area including Atglen, West Grove and here in East Nantmeal where we only dropped down to 33.9 this morning. Our typical coldest spot just a few miles north of here at Warwick Township dropped to 24.2 degrees this morning - almost a 10-degree swing based on elevation. That was the 10th sub-freezing low this season at Warwick. Here in East Nantmeal we will have to wait for our first freeze till our cold shot that arrives on Monday night. The latest first freeze I have recorded here was last year on November 13th. Today we will see high temperatures well up into the 50's. Some showers are likely tonight before our warmest day for the next week tomorrow with highs into the low 60's. We start to cool down on Sunday with more rain possible into the evening before we turn much colder to start the new work week we could even see a snow flurry by Monday night.

I think (?) that's the first that you've reported at least, which is quite unusual compared to recent seasons. I've already had a couple of mornings here in the 20s. This is an anomaly as you often experience the first freeze of the season before I do. 

The radiational cooling overnight came just in the nick of time - I just walked across campus here at work and there is a pretty good southerly breeze going now.
