Come january you will be wishing for temps above 45 . I expect more mix events than anything else in late nov into mid dec as the pattern sets up for january

I'm in western Camden County, NJ...not a drop here today. I remember that storm well- 2 feet at the beach and the precip line just stopped near egg harbor tolls. I actually wrote to Elliot Abrams at the time (in a respectful way, asking what tha?) and he was kind enough to respond comprehensively. Seemed like such a locked in forecast- only to unravel almost the same day. Very similar to this one...professional forecasting is so difficult at times. It almost feels as if the models still can't predict such vagaries- even decades later.

My not-so-good memory wants to say February 1989. The shore is the place to be for this storm. I feel bad for anyone back this way that changed or cancelled their plans because how this storm was hyped. Dr. No ftw!
