The New York Downtown station (KJRB) has reached 105. I am not confident in its reliability. Having said that, parts of the City beyond JFK Airport did reach 100° based on the NYC Micronet.

The 100° at Westhampton ties that location's all-time high. That mark was set on July 5, 1999 and tied on July 6, 2010.

Dunno if exactly 105 is accurate, but I know it get quite hot around there. Its one of the few places in Manhattan that gets unobstructed sunshine all day. When a sea breeze off the water there isnt a factor it's typically hotter than Midtown, which gets relatively little sun to the surface throughout the day.

Just reached KNYC and it’s clocking a bit over 97 at the moment. In fairness, the station gets a bit of sun as you can see. It’s not shrouded in the trees. General assessment from my walk: 99-100 in the blocks on the UWS and 97 ish in the park.

The clouds have come in to block the sun for a few seconds and then the sun came right back out lol.

Parks are by definition a green space though.

Looks like they have the fences I talked about surrounding the equipment, so they wouldn't need to hide it under trees.
