That probably had the most 90 degree days of any month at JFK unless July 1993 or July 1999 exceeded it.

Thanks !!

That 5 day stretch in July was the hottest period I'd known prior to 2010.

Looks like July 2010's 13 90 degree days is the record at JFK, the only other month that could come close would be July 1999 which was also very hot and very dry.

Family friends used to have a boxer growing up, when I was like 10 I would fight with him as he was pulling on a pig skin and I was pulling on the other end, if he really wanted to he could drag me across the floor lol

Boxers are literally a pile of muscle

He's getting there, he's still so dopey he don't know his full strength.

Anyway, it is a gorgeous 77 degree's out.  A nice and much needed change from the last few days.

Hi.  fwiw...the post was associated with the late Sunday (8th) northeastward moving weakening lead short wave. Not the10th.

Presuming everyone is fully aware of the GFS failure.,  attempting to spin up a TS vcnty GMEX the past week or so.

It seems like as soon as late spring starts, the GFS spins up hurricanes in the very long range until mid-Fall then it switches to long range fantasy snowstorms.

Trees have really taken a beating since 2010. We have seen record tree losses in the East from all the high wind events. The West into Canada has seen a ton of tree losses from all the wildfires. Not to mention the record deforestation of the Amazon Basin.

I suffer from back problems. I've been thinking of removing my spine so that I don't have to deal with the pain any longer.
