ChescoWx
Yesterday's high temperature at East Nantmeal tied the Chester County record set 116 years ago for the chilliest high temperature for the date. That record of 52 degrees was set at both Coatesville and Phoenixville way back in 1909. Here in East Nantmeal we have received 1.33" of rain over the past 2 days we are now 0.31" above normal for rainfall here in 2025. We start to dry out today with only a small chance of some showers. We look to stay well below normal through Sunday before we moderate to about 5 degrees below normal by Memorial Day. Temperatures look likely to remain below normal for the next week. Our next shower chances arrive later on Tuesday.

ChescoWx Posted yesterday at 01:02 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:02 PM A beautiful Memorial Day weekend underway across the area although at least 10 degrees below our normal highs for the day. Still relatively chilly tomorrow but temperatures do rise to within 5 degrees of normal by Monday with highs near 70 degrees. Rain chances increase again by Tuesday night and Wednesday and we will again turn well below normal temperature wise. Shower chances continue for much of the rest of the week with temperatures still a few degrees below normal for the end of May.

Had a couple of brief showers here, looks like another about to roll in. It goes from sunny and beautiful out to dark clouds and breezy with a shower, then back to sunny.

Hurricane Agnes
The scattered pop-ups mostly missed me yesterday (although my Delco sister got nailed by one but then got a cool double-rainbow at the end that she texted a pic of). But for the previous 3 days (5/21 - 23), I ended up with 1.20", which takes me to 5.82" for the month so far (vs 2.76" for April). Got up to 64 yesterday and bottomed out at 50 this morning. Currently a mostly sunny 51 and so far not as breezy as yesterday, with a dp of 45.
