Another discrepancy in forecasting the next few days.

Detailed Forecast from NWS:

Today
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind.
Tonight
A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 9am, then a chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. South wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday Night
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Friday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. South wind around 6 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
 
Carpet and tile guys forecast: A shower or two, the main message, don't expect much rain.

The models have definitely dropped the dry Mantra starting tomorrow.

I was saying they are not forecasting dry anymore so if models right, Carpet and Tile guys are shagged. Check out the CMC for the next week.  Other models show similar albeit it a bit less.

I guess I read your post wrong. I don't know what the shagged carpet, tile guys are looking at.

The NAM 3k seems to push multiple rounds of servere weather through western PA tomorrow and Fri. HRRR seems to drop the hammer with a few rounds on Thursday and then most of PA getting whacked on Fri.

SPC is really unenthused about severe, with only a categorial or marginal chance over the next few days. (they do have a SLGT for NW PA today)
