East Nantmeal sounds like a magical place.  You even have one fewer 90+ day than Bradford at 2100’ near the New York state line. And if there’s a heat island in McKean County, there must be a heat island everyone. 40,000 people and 1,000 square miles.

I think next summer I may start renting my house as a summer destination retreat!!!

I suspect our last chances of a 90 degree day across the higher spots of Chester County will be over the next few days. If we fail to see a 90 degree reading by Tuesday PM that may be it until next summer. Still only 1 rounded up 90 degree day in East Nantmeal this summer!
Today's record high is also the hottest temperature ever recorded in Chester County with the 107 degree reading today back in 1918. Our record low is the 49 degrees set back in 1997. The daily rainfall record is 1.58" set back in 1913.image.png.8713ff7ff659f3cbdcb1a6c09d5506ce.png

I know it’s worthless and a near 0% chance of happening BUT…my phone is forecasting a low of 59F next Saturday and Sunday. Still, it’s nice to look at, just like digital snow out in fantasy land.

It's 100% real GFS and CMC keep showing an early fall airmass next weekend and lengthy period of reinforcing airmass with the blocking back.

Temps near 90 are possible both today and tomorrow across many spots in Chester County today. Favored spots to reach the 90 degree mark will be locations below 550 feet asl.
The record high for today is 100.5 set back in 1900. The record low is 47 degrees from 1989. The daily rainfall record is 1.81" from 1910.

As suspected most spots over 550ft in the county did not touch 90 degrees yesterday. Today for some of those same spots...this could be our last chance at a 90 degree day for a while and possibly until next summer!
Our record high for today is 99 degrees set back in 1909. The record low is 49 set back in 1989. The daily rainfall record is 5.57" from 1942. image.png.b5a36b5eb8cc5bbb430296f642dd3829.png
