Good evening all. The storm thread is amazing. I know it’s hard to believe but it’s generating pages faster than Liberty can post. As always …

rclab, you’re pretty knowledgeable… what are we to believe? Why should I believe these randos versus the NWS?

It’s crazy and it’s beautiful simultaneously.

rclab, i will donate $50 to the charity of your choice if you make a snow angel and post a picture of it tomorrow

Will, if I do that, I’m afraid you'll also have to compose a eulogy. The upside is I’ll finally be hard. As always ….

Good evening, N&W. My lost love had a marvelous but stealth sense of humor. As I would bemoan the storm potential + or -  she would grab both my arms look straight at me and say. “If you want a sure thing just look out the window. If it stopped snowing grab a yardstick and stick it in.” Unfortunately for my much younger self, she almost always meant the snow. Be well, stay warm, dry and safe tomorrow. As always ….

the fear is not in death.  the fear is in not having truly lived, and also not having taken $50 from one of your fellow weather dorks.

take the red pill, rclab.

I thought it was blue. Sadly Will what good are cloths if you don’t have a closet to put them in.  As always ….

The BOS radar just pisses me off. I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that. Never in the right place at the right time. No risk of rain or taint, no risk the band just passes through, and hour after hour of cold powdery dentrite dumpage during daytime on a weekend!!

I haven't experienced even moderate intensity of snowfall at any moment during daytime this winter.

Young guy with a truck and a snow thrower just snorkled up and knocked on the front door.  I told him that I had the snow removal covered.  He said "you're going to do it?" I said yes.  Then he said "Your driveway just ate me".  I almost changed my mind. :)

We'll see how it goes. There will be libations afterwards.

For you, for him or for both, Ed?

I guess you weren't in Morris County for Jan 2016

From Allentown to Morristown to JFK to Oceanside we were all 30 plus inches.

I was not. That must have been incredible. I've maxed out around 20" while living in several places dating back to the 90s.

if everything would have broken right for nyc we could have gotten 40 inches of snow this month with todays blizzard and the martiin luther king storm..

instead it's Atlantic City that got nearly that amount.

Who would have thunk....

I saw that live.  I thought it was awesome how he broke down water equivalence and compared the consistency of snow with temps in the teens to regular Jersey coast snow with temps in the low 30s.
