11cm or just a bit over 4". I live in Caledonia about 15km south of downtown Hamilton and have elevation to help. A meteorologist from Ancaster about 10km from me reported the same amount so safe to say most of Hamilton Mountain saw around 4"

You guys have had one heck of a winter, no? Seems like you Jack potted several times. Congratulations. I think it’s a little rare for you guys.

Watching things last night I think the Niagara Peninsula would have gotten the most. Any report a bit east of you on the escarpment?

Yup.  Getting darker here with rates picking back up.  Know it won’t amount to anything but still interesting to see.  A less wet snow coming down now, lots of pellets mixing in with drier flakes.  Been watching Huron this morning with some good action, had a freight train of meso vorts spinning around a little while ago.  Morning snow pack really took a beating but still holding on!

Every 25 minutes or so the snow really picks up in intensity. Still about 3 very water laden inches of slush OTG

A half hour of sleet at 6:30.

A period of snow from 10 to 12.

Flurries in between.

Maybe a half inch of slush that has mostly melted.

I can't believe I fell for it again once the NAM seemed to agree. Shame on me! Fooled way too many times...the weenie in me is definitely bruised.

This event worked out just like I thought it would. A little snow when I woke up around 7:30 which melted before we got another little burst of slush around 10:30 - 11which melted within a half hour after it stopped. I can’t wait for the warmup next week, I flipped the switch on winter a month ago.

As the area of high pressure tracks east, significant warm air
advection will start to increase temperatures Tuesday into
Wednesday. Tuesday max temps in the upper 60s to mid 70s south of
Lake Ontario, and in the mid 60s for the North Country. With 850H
temps increasing to around 15C by Wednesday, MaxTs in the upper 70s
to low 80s looking more and more likely, depending on mixing
heights, MaxTs could easily be even warmer for Wednesday.

Good call. You and Max have good experience with local climo...this must not be uncommon for the area, despite the "high annual totals" Syracuse touts. The average must get there from those  rare, random several foot dumps that comes every few years.
