Back in Tamaqua. Poured in Elysburg, but here...the (in)famous Tamaqua Split reared it's ugly head again...

Seems like we have a shot at rain each of the next 3 days, especially Mon and Tue.  So hopefully we all get a good soaking.     Today's rain down here was not much.  .1-.2

GFS is Exhibit A when it comes to illustrating the practical limits on how far out you can realistically model/forecast. Of course, now we have the GEFS ensemble that goes to 840 hours instead of 384. Wonder what the accuracy of that thing is at day 35.

Lol…Just look how terrible the NAM is even under 24 hours out!

The humidity was brutal today.
The next 2 days look to be very warm, but temperature relief looks to be on the way for Tuesday & Wednesday.

Dews were tolerable here . 60s most of the day  . Very nice out now . Hardly any bugs

Dew points in the mid 60’s are very uncomfortable in my opinion.

I guess it's all relative.  I'm used to working outside alot as a Construction worker.  90/70 or higher sucks so highs in the 70s most of the day with dews 65-68 is actually pretty nice

I just wanted to post a better temp July 4 as a Fathers day gift to everyone.  Big Boy Ridge in the Gulf on the 6Z.  We are still outside on the periphery.   This is mid day Monday, July 5th.

Indeed, hoping for a 4th of July weekend everyone can enjoy. We deserve it after the last 15 months.
