The Devils should have traded for Quinn Hughes. Not making that move really sank the season.

Tocchet is destroying Michkov. Koneckny wants out. Coots looks like hes skating in quicksand. Goalies are like Swiss cheese (tho vladar has shown he can be a starter). Defense is avg at best. How long are we going to continue to say "maybe next year"?

I was indifferent to the Tocchet hire at the time. They did go outside the organEYEtion for the last few coaching hires with no success.

But seeing how Taco handles the team, I’m not feeling it. It’s a shame, cause he’s one of my all time favorite Flyers. Still have my Tocchet jersey from back in the day. (And yes, it barely fits.)

But he hasn’t signed an extension yet, right? If not I can see NJ, the Rangers and Flyers trying to clear cap space.
 

Sure, his preference wound be to play in NJ. Barring that, NY or Philly would be close enough.
