Central PA Summer 2020: Hoping The Heat Makes a Hasty Retreat

Recommended Posts

@Voyager I had zero wind here...I mean maybe just the slightest of a breeze during the time that it rained. Since the rain ended the winds have picked up a bit out of the NW but only 10-15 mph or so. (thus far)

I didn't think I'd see much wind, either, but the storm tracked just west of Easton PA instead of Central NJ like everyone thought.

I almost...kinda...sorta...feel that let down that I do after tracking a big snowstorm and it's moved on. Last couple of days have been fun.

Without the cleanup. :)

Yep.  I bet half of you were looking at 10 days GFS's before the rain stopped :-).

Well......What is the next Summer System to track:D

Look at the record bath water in the Atlantic - this won’t be the only tropical storm we see methinks.

One thing I can say for certain - I NEVER look at the 10 day GFS. I don't look at the 10 day anything for that matter.

I did just look at the thermometer and I'm sitting at 84. :)

Looking at the 10 day Euro it should not get much higher than that any of those days.  Maybe 86-87.

Some of those NY weenies would be complaining that the torch isn't completely submerged.

In some way, many of us are some sort of weather weenie, so this post isn't too far off the mark.

It’s growing 59dbZ showing up.  Maybe muscle out a pity special weather statement

"To those of you whose winds never increased about 10MPH during the Hurricane we present this SWS for a 10 min downpour"

Hi guys, I hear it rained in some parts of the state today :arrowhead:

It took all day but I’m finally getting some pity rain that may keep some of my lawn on life support.

That's God promise to never let me have a lush lawn again. Congrats on the rain though.
