SPC outlook upgraded to enhanced.  

 

   A CATEGORICAL UPGRADE TO ENH HAS BEEN INCLUDED ACROSS PORTIONS
   OF CNTRL/ERN PA...SERN NY...AND NJ FOR SEVERE WINDS. MODERATE TO
   STRONG INSTABILITY COUPLED WITH 30-50 KT OF MID-LEVEL FLOW WILL
   CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE RISK FOR LONGER-LIVED CONVECTIVE CLUSTERS
   WITH DMGG WIND GUSTS SPREADING ACROSS THE ENH AREA THROUGH EARLY/MID
   EVENING. AMPLE SFC HEATING AMIDST A VERY MOIST BOUNDARY LAYER -- SFC
   DEWPOINTS IN THE LOWER/MIDDLE 70S -- S OF AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY ACROSS
   FAR NRN PA/SERN NY IS SUPPORTING MLCAPE AROUND 1500-3000 J/KG. WITH
   NOTABLE INCREASES IN CONVECTION ACROSS N-CNTRL/CNTRL/WRN PA AIDED BY
   DCVA CROSSING THE AREA...CONFIDENCE HAS INCREASED IN A GREATER
   DMGG-WIND POTENTIAL DOWNSHEAR OF THIS ACTIVITY EWD TOWARD THE

Picked up a storm total of 1.08" of rain so far, may add a little more to that. Winds probably gusted over 40mph when the main line came through around 5:30pm with very heavy rain and a decent amount of thunder and lightning. Had alot of poor drainage flooding in my area due to the heavy rain with some tree branches down and minor power outages but nothing major.

Current temp 74/DP 73/RH 95%

High for the day was 96

Thank you.  It sure was.  Had the high temp of the year:  94.7F  High heat index of the year:  113F  2 rounds of thunderstorms and 1.25" of rain, so far.
