Been a raw, wet, chilly day here in North GA, first of the fall season. My location is up to .79" storm total. Wedge is holding strong / likely is at its mature stage. Has only gotten to 53.4 today. Currently 53.2 with heavy drizzle/very light rain and continued strong NE Winds. I love me a wedge!

You want it 41.9 degrees with rain? No worries, I think that will happen a lot this winter.

You know what, I'd much rather be at your location because more than likely, you will be receiving snow and/or ice while it is 42 here with cold rain. So, I'm not worried about that happening here because I know it will so why worry. Just a fact of life in Winter here in the south. But, I do like the trend of all these wedges this fall. Hopefully the trend will continue into this winter and we'll score something big.

Been watching the Charleston reports come in this morning. Very impressive, considering that this really isn't 'storm' generated. 4th and 3rd highest respectively on record yesterday, and still high today. Not to mention the flooding they had the first part of the month.

I was in what was left of Bull's Bay 3 weeks after Hugo... Impressive tree scars 12-18 feet off the ground from the surge.

Meanwhile, for that whole coastal area...

I registered another 1.22 inches of rainfall today.  That brings my storm total to 3.37 inches for the three days 10/26 - 10/28.  That also brings my October total to a pretty amazing 6.77 inches.  This is my fifth October at this location, and I have never had more than 2.77 inches of rainfall in any prior October.  El Nino...
