Good day weather fans,

Bottomed out at 26.1F this morning. Few flurries in my travels today down to I 80 to HL.
Been a very unusal month with weather
Must admit, when I heard over the summer...that El Nino was huge, I did not expect this December to be this strange
hoping something is right with the GFS long range. Nothing to date though.
I am traveling to Lancaster and Delco counties in PA for the x Mas holiday
New Years in Burlington, VT.
Wishing everyone a blessed holiday season.
hoping we get crushed in NW NJ with a super el nino 3 footer in February.

Decent snow shower in progress. My elder dog was just licking snow flakes in the air.

Sorta feel bad for old miss Liberty. She has been looking for the snow too!

not even a tenth of an inch.

Go trace of snow in the journal if you keep one.

My journal is weak flurries in the area.

Old Miss Libery caught a few mangled flakes in the air :santa:

Yeah I agree. I'm going with a trace, or maybe even first flakes. I guess the lake effect got cut up from crossing the terrain and Apps.

Now we''ll see how low we drop tonight. Waiting for the stars to come out.

Does not even matter. temp are forecasted to be near all time record highs later this week.

Got to get out and "live"the weather.

I will chase the snow if  required.

got Jackwon Hole on my list in January for a dump.

Tough to forecast other than a  week out for a teton dump.

Yeah I was out there before, and it felt pretty cold. Not used to it at all. As for snow, well that's anybody's guess, just like this Dallas game.

Well I meant for NJ lol. I wouldn't mind being in Montana right now. Probably in the southwestern part of the state, like Bozeman or Ennis.

No worries. Last december sucked for snow in the area.

see my notes. Nothing really. I killed winter mid month..

Janauary is a 5 week month.

Plently of time for a dump or 2.

I only got around 2 inches last december.

Mother has a house in livingston, mt.

go there 2x a year.

not much there etc. either you bring money there or area a dr, lawyer, land owner, hotel worker, truck driver, river tour operator etc.

Lol, pretty cool. Florida has always interested me, Orlando specifically. We have friends down there, outside the city, and it's really nice. Lot of land and freedom. The problem is the heat/humidity combination is tough to deal with.

Yea. I would rather soak up heat and humidity another location.

Wife and I our buying 4 bikes for 2 families in need in vernon nj tomorrow.

Going big! Want the kids to have a good Santa.

That's awesome.  No matter the weather, this is still the best time of the year.

Take care

Its nice to see some consistency in regards to an actual storm 8-9 days out. I would feel more comfortable if I had 100 more miles of latitude but we shall see. Nonetheless its something to track..

HM seems to think things are starting to turn to at least stormy, we'll see just what kind of storms. As you say, it's something to track.
