ksstormhunter
NW through NC MS needs to be on the watch now, seeing some good CAPE values pooling in that area 2500 (j/kg), seeing about 0-3KM Shear values around 40-45kts, and EHI values around 400 in this area. Forecasting potential F2/F3 Type tornadoes across this region, I am also seeing potential for hail 2.5 to 3" diameter hail possible. Looking at Greenville and Greenwood, MS area to be on the look out soon. Also seeing that zone across AL-GA with slightly weaker indices with potential for F1/F2 type tornadoes, hail around 1.5" in diameter. And even though I'd like to look at their board for the info they have on severe weather I wont register there to do it.

Central AL and W-C MS looked to be primed for strong Tornado development.
ryan1234
Gotta love the pesky wedge. You can really see the storms weaken as they make there way into the Atlanta Metro. Looks like the biggest threat there will be the hail. South of Atlanta looks to be the sweet spot.

Shack
Macon reporting in here. Storm passed overhead about 30 minutes ago. Been outside taking pictures of the winter wonderland that I never got in January or February ! I'll try to post some pics of the hail. Not very big, biggest about 7/8". But goodness gracious, it's EVERYWHERE. Our county (Bibb) had a Tornado Warning. Tornado sig passed right over my house(Lake Tobesofkee). We were hit by the F-2 Mothers Days Tornado on May 11, 2008. Tore my neighbors roof off and leveled our whole neighborhood. Always wondered how often a Tornado "strikes twice".

I enjoy the site for all the post storm discussion and pics that the chasers post. We should have Brick sign up over there to cause trouble.
