    Hopefully soon. Radar just brightened up this past frame so I like to think this band will moisten the column. Seems to be a bit of a preshow so if it doesn't work out it's not a huge deal but it would probably limit our shots at 5-8".

    Perfect. Hoping that this first band holds up and delivers. HRRR has me with 2" on the ground in the next five hours or so -- that bit looks to be a crucial part.

    Drinking a Bold Rock and waiting for first flakes. Curfew doesn't really let me walk anywhere to enjoy the snow, though. Hopefully I can muster up the energy to go to the Rotunda and get a snow picture in the morning.

    Gonna do my best to make the NOVA people sad they wanted me to leave. Gotta will an opposite jinx into existence. CHO gained 3" on the WAA from 18z. 10" just to my north. Make it happen.

    That may be the wimpiest precip shield I've seen with a 990 off Atlantic City. You'd have to think ya'll do better.

    Little more trend and maybe we can get the tip of the deform band. Maybe... EURO has us snowing lightly till 5:00pm which impressed me. Totals looked good too. HRRRish

    HRRR continues to look thumpy for the small Cville/Staunton crowd.

    I'm hugging the F out of the HRRR. 6.2" w/ Kuchera in my backyard by 9:00am and no mix with precip to go.

    GFS is acceptable for me. My bar in CHO is 5” on the thump. All else is gravy. I can be a superstitious sacrifice as long as I get 5”.

    I dunno if the original complaint was directed at me, but down here in Charlottesville I just don't want to mix with the WAA. IDAGF if I mix on anything I'd get Monday/Tuesday.

    Officially in my house in Charlottesville. Bought a mini weather station so I can hopefully get good temp/dew point obs but honestly I'll probably be a weenie and just take obs from the coldest station nearby. 42/9. Might be some virga for awhile tonight.
