Half-mile visibility... dusting keeps following me as I travel with the storm so I feel like it must be accumulating behind me.

Following the snow up US 29 so if you see a trail of mPING reports, that’s me! Greens/yellows are legit. Tree branches coated. Temp dropping. Snow hanging on long enough to blow across the road.

Good echoes approaching Charlottesville, temps busting low, might actually accumulate more than the trace this morning... But of course I’m leaving for Arlington right now to fly to Orlando. Tough timing this year.

The new weatherbell model site is... interesting. Feels like what weathermodels wanted to do. Probably going to use the old version until I'm forced to adapt but its not bad.

It’s been mostly white rain in Charlottesville but it’s very pretty. Temps are still cooperating so sun angle must be doing some solid work. Hard to maintain a dusting on the mulch today.

Just woke up, snowing lightly outside. Roomate says it was heavy earlier. 31 but it doesn’t seem like anything has stuck.

Family in Arlington is reporting sleet, so I can at least record two traces for the day.

Temp dipped down to 36, saw a rain/snow report 2 miles to my NE so I stuck my head outside. Can confirm that when rates pick up it rains harder.

When I got to Charlottesville I mistakenly thought that my extra mileage west would lead to at least storm where I would have an advantage over the old Arlington stomping grounds... nope. The one storm I beat it was because I was further south. Winter is weird.
