  1. Pretty sure we've already all given up on Thursday, minus the SVA folks.
  2. IF any of this holds, I'll have the tough decision to make of going down to Charlottesville or staying in Arlington. Gives me some nice flexibility if it shifts a little more south, at least. Lets me root for a more diverse array of solutions.
  3. I’m supposed to head back down to Charlottesville on Saturday, so it’ll probably snow 20” in Arlington and 7” in Charlottesville like the EURO depicted. If it really somehow looked like that on Saturday morning... I’d probably need to let my professors know that I’ll be fully virtual the first week, haha.
  4. Calling it a generous .2". 2.1" on the year in Arlington. No snow in Charlottesville.
  5. Seems like it’s mostly back to sleet in my corner of N Arlington. Things are white out there but not worth measuring at this point.
  6. Unfortunately at the moment it’s the lightest possible greens. I’d rather be living on the edge.
  7. I’d give a lot of money for that slug of moisture to crawl north. Doesn’t look like it wants to make it up past I66, if that. Still seems to be all sleet here in N Arlington but we gotta be close.
  8. Was about to post the RAP to cancel out any HRRR negativities.
  9. NAM stays cold too. Might be legit FRZA at the end.
  10. Pretty significant jump actually. Starting to think most of us probably see an 1".
  11. FWIW, thought the HDRPS and Para looked cold enough. Just gotta will it north. Call your friends in S VA and get them to bring their fans outside and angle them northward.
  12. CMC folds, so looks like we're drawing dead. VA Beach deserves some flakes anyways. Maybe Myrtle Beach by Thursday. Back to hoping for a miracle tomorrow. Sunday is too far and I'm not ready yet to get hurt again.
  13. Someone smarter than me can chime in but I don't think this is one of those scenarios. Think we'd need the high QPF/rates from the NAM to give those outside of the favored areas a chance at a boom.
  14. Checking on the QPF, the NAM is an outlier, but it's not like it would take a crazy jump to get the other guidance in line. 50 or less miles north isn't a totally unreasonable ask...
