    Just flipped to sleet. About 2 inches here in the valley at least, probably more up in Highland Lakes.

    I need to come to this forum more often as it is a different world up here and I understand the lack of enthusiasm down there. With that being said, I need to get access to the models so I don't have to ask here but until then, are the mesos still showing the R/S line little north of Sussex Co or back down a bit? I know 1-84 is a good spot for this one but northern half of Sussex was looking great until this morning. This will be my only IMBY type question.

    Pretty smoky here in Vernon all of a sudden. Must be the fire in W Milford on Clinton Road that is new. Hope we don’t have a repeat of last fall. .

    4.1 in the gauge and still coming down. Drought here gone. .

    Here in Eastern Sussex Co, we are the only bob left of severe drought in Tri-State area beside small blob in southern NJ. Total here since last Thur is .73. Very frustrating as we have missed heavier rains by 5-10 miles all year. Our wells need some drink before summer. You like boring weather, this is your place.

    Had some sleet here around 10:30 at 37 degrees but I am in a lower valley. I imagine up by High Point at least some flakes were flying.

    Measured 8 on top my cooler about 45 minutes ago. I am in the valley, about 550 elevation .

    About 4in Vernon Valley. Huge flakes coming down now. Talking about 1-3 inch rates for next few hours per special weather statement for Sussex Co. .

    Had little bigger than pea size hail and gusts to well over 40 with that cell in Vernon. Wife saw 1+ inch hail in town on way home and several large branches down. Ton of lightning .

    Pea size hail storm in Vernon. Ground including roads completely whitened. Came in as hail and now ending as rain/graupel

    Winter Storm Watch up for us in Sussex County. 5-7 inches of snow before changing to mixed precip. Pretty bullish by My Holly.

    Very close lightning strike out of nowhere. Was not expecting that today. Sounded like a bomb.
