Safe to say as usual, the models (and the MD) missed that second interior band that always sets up. As evident by the outline of the MD lol.

Most mundane 1” per hour ive ever seen tbh…was shocked i got an inch the last 50 minutes. Radar isnt doing it justice.

It was discussed earlier in the interior thread, but up until the very short term models, most models miss or misalign the northern edge which always ends up another jackpot area. There always seems to be a stronger area of lift right at the area where the strongest precip starts to fade.

And no offense to that map and our most northern people but if monticello gets 10+ im prob gonna do great down here lol

I havent read the discussion yet but i know in some of uptons earlier comments, they were concerned that winds would be able to mix down a bit easier than in some of our other normal winter setups. So they may just be playing it safe because of those potential conditions.
