This is easily the greenest my front lawn has been in years. Its usually burnt out by the end of july and i can usually go weeks without mowing.

Rockland is hosting the state junior league softball tournament starting sunday. Looks like we lucked out so far, especially sunday and monday.

The blob of heavy slow moving rain over the rockaways and the island beaches have exactly 10 mins to dissipate before the 2 hour NAM blows it. in a shocking turn of events the 1 hr hrrr is better than the nam.

There was significant tree damage at stony ford, it was very noticeable.

Fwiw i hit a perfect drive on 16. And then somehow hit an 8 iron 2 clubs too far and ruined my even par back 9. my front 9 was closer to yesterdays dew point however.

Drizzled for 5 mins, we got lucky. turns out one of the guys i golfed with was a weather buff too lol

I havent been over here in years. No wonder why you have such a range of temps, forgot how much the elevation changes in short distances over here. Sorry in advance about your kitchen window, i tend to slice the ball. Lol

Got lucky enough to get alittle over 1/2”….enough to not have to water the plants today i guess. Wind was impressive tho, branches down everywhere.
