    The short term pattern for the next 7 days looks good for average or below average temps with frequent precipitation and possibly some snow. All in all a much better pattern for Fall than what yall have seen down here.

    Great shots eyewall. Things are slowly starting to turn down here in the central mountains finally.

    Temp down to 27 degrees this morning. Refreshing here in the mountains.

    Yeah the leaf season from Wisconsin to the mountains is a stark contrast. At least the cold air has arrived finally. Temp down to 37 degrees already. I'm sure this is very refreshing to everyone here.

    The wind is absolutely ripping tonight. Current temp is 45 degrees.

    Yeah true. It's like going from summer to Fall overnight. Usually the process is a but slower but I am very surprised at just how green everything is down here. It's a double edged sword.

    Looks like a couple of freezes the next few nights will help a lot with the leave season.

    Snow is steady here this late afternoon in Wausau. Temp has dropped to right at 32 degrees and the snow is starting to stick a bit of the grass.

    I moved from Western North Carolina in the mountains. I took a railroad job here in Wisconsin.

    It is growing on me. At first everything being relatively flat was getting to me because I was use to mountains being around me, but as time goes by I have adjusted. If I can transfer I might be looking to go up into the Gladstone area of the UP.

    Was a cloudy cold day in Wausau today. We had a high of 33 degrees today and we are down to 30 degrees currently. Congrats on those who are seeing snow.

    We have had sleet and some snow showers here in Central Wisconsin this late afternoon.

    38 degrees with a stiff wind in Central Wisconsin.

    A nice cool cloudy couple of days. The colors are starting to really come out here in central Wisconsin. Today's high at home was 49.

    A nice cold rain up here this morning with a temp of 38 degrees. It's crazy the cutoff from fall weather to summer like weather.

    Had a heavy freeze here in Wisconsin. Got down to 29 degrees in Wausau at home.

    Was a beautiful day with a high of 57 degrees and a current temp of 54 degrees. Very fall like.

    Got our first frost this morning up here in Wausau Wisconsin. Had readings from 33 to 37 degrees coming from Fond du lac to Wausau this morning.

    Yeah the Euro has been bumping up heights in the West the past few runs and digging the trough a bit more in the east. Let's get that look under 5 days and see how it goes.

    Yep I live about 10 minutes from Rib mountain off of exit 190. I was pleasantly surprised at the elevation up at Rib mountain when I visited there this summer. It is beautiful up there.

    Yeah when I moved to Wisconsin I didn't think I would be working in temps near 90 in September... For us up in Wausau Wisconsin that looks to end tonight though. Storms will be blowing through with temps dropping into the 60s for highs for several days

    Rosman has a micro climate of it's own here in WNC. Almost like a temperate rainforest climate.
