Light mix here but we have shot up to 31 degrees.

The GFS is bringing the hammer down for the 7 to 10 day temps. Its amazing how different the GFS and EURO are in that time frame.

Looking at the GFS and the NAM both still look very good for the upslope event starting after midnight Sunday night. Both those models want to really scour out the cold air quickly. So we will see.

Crazy how eerily still it is here. Just a slight breeze and under clear skies. Reminds me of just a regular night.

Its crazy. We got up to like 37 degrees today also but with the snow pack, very little wind and virtually clear skies its like we are radiating like a beast. Which we do very well in those types of situations. Its just been a perfect storm for temps to nosedive tonight and fast at that.

Well with this flow snow its going to kind of hit all angles. I think its going to start out as a west flow then NW then more northerly as the event kind of wraps up towards the middle to end.

Wow I am falling off a cliff. Another degree lost. Down to 22 in just the last 10 to 15 minutes. We are under partly cloudy skies here so that has helped tremendously for temps diving off the cliff.

Yeah this upslope event is going to be one of the best in years if the models continue to trend the way they have been.

Down another degree! We are under mostly cloudy skies currently with some stars peeking through. That might be the best thing. Seems like im losing a degree every 30 to 45 minutes.

Dang I just dropped another 2 degrees down to 25 degrees now... Im impressed so far. Everything is frozen up solid. Maybe the Euro was onto something.

Temp has actually dropped to 27 tonight. Im surprised because I thought we might hover right at freezing then go north of that when precipitation starts back.

The GFS just keeps upping the ante here on the NW flow snow. Another bump up in accumulations! Someone is going to see over a foot from this event. I guarantee it.
