    Really this scenario could go 1 to 3 inches or full on 6 to 12 depending on how deep, how fast the cold air gets in her and how fast the storm moves through.

    This is probably going to be a case of multiple wabbles with this system really from today all the way into Sunday possibly.

    Was just fixing to say the GFS has come back around to a better solution for our region.

    Yeah we are sitting in the best spot for whatever comes our way for sure.

    Yeah this could be a last minute decent storm that the models see then lose then see again at the last minute.

    Yeah we are still a few days away but no im not liking the trends. We can still see snow just as of right now not a lot at all.

    Both the euro and the GFS have slashed totals overnight for the mountains. Especially the EURO looks pretty paltry with the overnight run.

    18z continues to show a possibility for snow Sunday night into Monday.

    Yeah hopefully this sticks. We will see though. Im still very pessimistic.

    Yeah figuratively speaking for the season not looking good. Looking out a bit further we may get some snow but then it's right back up in the 50s again a few days later.

    If we don't get prolonged cold the ski resorts will be out of business.

    Multiple cloud to ground lightning currently. Some pretty awesome light effects.

    Im tucked into a holler and the wind is just ripping right over me. I can hear it going through the valley.

    Sheets of rain coming in hard and heavy. Wind is absolutely roaring here. It's like a monsoon.

    According to the radar things are really going to deteriorate soon.

    What's interesting is that you can see these local waves of embedded storms in the whole shield itself coming into the mountains.

    You should see some snow if the synoptics works out that way. That's a decent spot for sure but as of right now we will see how this ends up.
