  1. I can confirm its snowing in Knoxville.
  2. Going to be narly the next 24 to 36 hours.
  3. One thing about this changeover if the cold air rushes in is that most will go from heavy rain to heavy snow in a matter of moments. Some could possibly see a thunderstorm then the temps just free fall...
  4. Good luck to everyone! Hope most at least see some token flakes for Christmas.
  5. This is an airmass we could see diamond dust falling in. Been awhile since we have seen that.
  6. Ill tell you one thing. No matter how much snow we get its going to be brutally cold. I venture to say we could have highs around 10 and possibly lows around zero. My high for Friday is down to 18.... I love it.
  7. Yep thinking the same thing. This will be colder than just about anything we saw last year.
  8. Same thing as I was thinking. There has been no consistency at all for this storm.
  9. A bit of a rain snow mix this morning. More changes with this next weeks system..
  10. The mountains no doubt will see flakes its just how much. A skiff or something sizable. Baby steps.
  11. Yep thats why I said im waiting until Tuesday for any real substance from the models.
  12. Yeah the flow from this system was way different than anything I've ever seen. Places that usually get no flow snow had snow and normal places only had flurries.
  13. The maps are nice to look at but im skeptical at the moment until we get to Tuesday.
  14. Snow has really picked up tonight. Closing in on about a quarter of an inch.
  15. Changes and different solution every model run for Christmas. GFS is much drier. Euro was different. Lets get to Tuesday and see what happens.
  16. We have had some snow showers on and off but nothing to amount to much. Had a bit of ice yesterday but we just dont do well in CAD.
  17. I would venture to say if that air mass were to come down that far we could see some below zero temps for the first time in about 2 years I think.
