  2. Yeah, I plugged the others back in and they are quiet.
  3. Fun night here. Power out as @Snowaddict28noted. An hour after we fell asleep all of the smoke alarms (which are wired) in this rental went off. After trying to turn them off one by one (by popping batter open) I found one with water in it. Assuming that caused it to malfunction, setting the other ones off??? I don’t think there is any logical source for CO.

  9. Just got in from a tropical Jebwalk on the UWS. Steady tropical downpour and you can see on radar it’s building a band over the city.
  10. Any reports from Milford, CT area? Seem to be missing the rain (and presumably wind) so far, but wondering if sound flooding is emerging as expected.

  12. Thank god they did cancel the concert. Gave people a head start on the worst of the subway flooding (multiple lines are shut down now)
  13. Central Park set an all time hourly rainfall record this evening. It’s nuts here.
  14. Flash flood warning now in Manhattan. FWIW, rain here is overproducing.
  15. We rented a beach house on the water there in Milford to start next Friday.
  16. Our summer plans having changed like four times, we just the other day booked a house on the water in Milford starting next Friday. Hoping the flooding does not materialize.
