  1. Of course, storms dissolving on approach. We'll get a little but hard to get much lately.
  2. Not sure what style you're looking for but Barking Crab is good for "in-the-rough" shellfish, etc. Went there years ago and enjoyed it. Plenty of choices obviously and don't pass up Chinatown.
  3. 81/72. Looking at likely 4th heat wave this season. Up to 18 days >= 90F.
  4. Hit 95F here. Leaving the AC off for the moment but expect we may want it tonight.
  5. Back from a nice week on the Cape. A little smoky and cloudy to start but last few days were stellar.
  6. Do you mean Jenness Beach in Rye, NH? Nice little beach.
  7. Headed to Truro tomorrow. Guess I won the weather lottery for vacation week. Would be cool to experience a little tropical action down there but I'll take it. Smoky and 76F
  8. 52.8 this morning. Haven't seen 40s here since June 4. Looks like extreme summer doldrums on the horizon. See you in October.
  9. 96/74. Almost acclimated to this now. Doesn't feel as hot as a month ago.
  10. 81/58...pretty much ideal. Hoping we can translate this to first week in Aug when down on the Cape. A little humidity won't hurt but don't want everything covered in dew. Doesn't look wet at this range so fingers crossed.
  11. 55F this morning. Not bad in these parts for July.
  12. Davis had 91/81 here...like a warm, wet blanket wrapped around you.
  13. Nice clipper on the Euro next week. Misty and 64/64 here. Been a nice little break from heat. Actually haven't reached 80 since last Tuesday here.
  14. Feels like winter. Everything too far north or too far south...0.00". 68/66 with the marine layer.
  15. Setting up a nice evening assuming Stein wins again. Down to 79F with a breeze.
  16. Remnants of Chantal spinning south of NS on satellite. Seems like there should be more activity showing up by now but it's quiet out in the tropics even in the eastern Pacific. Heat wave here with today being the hottest at 93.5.
  17. If HRRR is right, nice cool down next couple of days. About 20 degree difference between here and the Hudson Valley. 89/79 now, although I'm not sure how much I'm trusting my Davis dews lately.
  18. Made it to 94 here. Still 88/74. I do like these evenings with a balmy breeze and no hint of a chill in the air. True summer.
  19. 77/57...couldn't draw it up any better for the 4th. Enjoy the day folks.
  20. If you were looking SSW from York probably Portsmouth...between 9:15-9:45 or so. Actually may be the last time they have them here due to budget cuts. Would need a private donor to pay for it.
  21. Great night for fireworks in PSM. Showers held off thankfully.
  22. Noticed the fireflies here tonight. Definitely more than I've seen in recent years. Comfortable evening...68/65
