  1. Looks like 1-2" refresher depending on which convective model you look at.
  2. You can't combine totals from two locations...that's not fair.
  3. About 3.5" from both rounds. Nice wintery evening. 32/31
  4. Probably some shuffling back and forth with so much time left. The last few years of coastal failures have left me a bit skeptical. If it looks similar in 24 hours then maybe we're out of the woods with the 'what can go wrong will go wrong' feeling.
  5. I'll take a couple inches and hopefully get the cold to settle in long enough to take advantage of a better pattern for cyclogenesis. Need a double-digit storm region wide soon or we'd be looking at another sub-par snow season.
  6. Op run and all but that GFS run hints at some overrunning chances
  7. Just shy of normal for December at 13.75", which is close to 2020 at 14". That following January was terrible...hoping for a better outcome next month.
  8. Recently came across this site from Hampton NH...some snowstorms of yore: https://history.lanememoriallibrary.org/hampton/history/randall/chap18/randall18_6.htm
  9. Good luck. Used to do this back in the cold winters of the 80s both around here and with my grandfather down in the Quincy MA area. No bob-house...just slumin' it with an ice chisel and a folding chair. Agreed about the eating quality...they are worth the effort.
  10. Up to 41F here this morning and now leveled off around 37-38F with 0.63" of rain so far. Still some coverage in the yard that will likely just turn into a skating rink tonight.
  11. 1" this morning and some light snow falling. Nickel and dimes to about average for December...will take it. 15/9
  12. The duck theme in these threads gives me a hankering to eat a whole Peking duck if I get even an inch out of this. 20/5, filtered sun
  13. Got to 8.1F this morning. Not expecting more than maybe some coastal flurries tonight. There's about an inch or two of glacier in our pack that I'm thinking will hold on if we keep the Monday system more mixed/frozen. Then GFS has another minor event on NYD to refresh. I rather face the inevitable return to work from winter vacation feeling like we're in deep winter, which hasn't been the case most of the last several years.
  14. Yeah, surprised to see your report. Taint got 'stronger' as you headed closer to the ocean. Either way, looks nice.
  15. Looks like were getting into some of the dong now. About 2.5" so far. 27/25
  16. Glad to see coastal ME getting a good hit from this. Seems like there's been a general deficit in precip there frozen or otherwise for some time. Hoping we get clipped with some of that tonight/tomorrow AM. 28/22
  17. Models show some energy moving through on Christmas to keep it festive during the day.
  18. 3.5" Nice and fluffy this evening. Might be wrapping up now but snow lingered for quite a while despite the meager look on radar.
  19. I was curious about previous winters around here when Washington had significant December flooding. Using Concord, seems all over the place but some good years in there like '07-'08, '77-'78, '70-'71 and '55-'56. Looks like some of these were mentioned in Ray's write-up.
  20. Seeing a hint of an IVT reaching back to the coast as this departs. Hoping for at least some Currier and Ives here.
  21. New roof install this coming week. Delaying a significant event to next weekend is fine with me.
