    At my parents yesterday and a coyote came traipsing through the back yard. Stopped for a while to listen to my dad talk to him before scooting off into the woods. Seems like a lot of critter activity this year. Meanwhile, 0.42" so far...good drink. 60/59

    Loud gusts early this morning kept me up. 42F and 1.8" so far with one last round moving in.

    April ends about avg. temp wise here but definitely pretty dry. Picked up 0.39 today, which is the most daily precip we've had all month. Looking forward to some active weather coming up.

    28F for the low this morning. Actually running slightly BN for month. Looping the GFS doesn't provide much in the way of torch chances in the medium range. Could be a long winter summer.

    It was actually a pretty mild week with a highs of 69 Monday, 76 Tuesday and 68 yesterday. It didn't really feel all that warm because those periods were brief as most of the time we were holding under 60F. 49F and breezy now.

    '91-'92 was a strong El Nino and we had Bob and the perfect storm leading into that winter. Unfortunately, snowfall around here was paltry. I wouldn't mind some anomalous storms again this fall but would hope the winter is better than back then.

    51 and breezy. That burst of summer early next week probably going to end up much cooler...ocean's a killer this time of year. Meanwhile, zzzzz....

    Last freeze... 2021: 4/22 2022: 4/18 2023: 5/18 2024: 4/27 2025: 4/10 I think the long-term average here is 5/10 but I'm sure that's moved back a few days. But I'd think this year will be some time later in April.

    That is surprising. Just a lot of medium/smaller events here surrounding the major at the end of January. Last season we had 12 events total and so far this season we're at 19. Greenland NH coop is showing 72" so it's close. Maybe we just had a little more from IVTs earlier in the season as they were brushing the coast.

    Some signs we get clipped with a little snow tomorrow even down here...better change Monday. Just need .25" to get to 80 on the season.

    Capped off our little trip to Saddleback today. Great conditions with comfortable temps both yesterday and today. Wind was ripping good up high with rime and blowing snow this morning. Somewhat tamer this afternoon.
