    I was curious about previous winters around here when Washington had significant December flooding. Using Concord, seems all over the place but some good years in there like '07-'08, '77-'78, '70-'71 and '55-'56. Looks like some of these were mentioned in Ray's write-up.

    My scotch pine is feeling it this morning. Second round last night added another 2.5”. Ended at 6” total.

    Been a snowy day but not accumulating very well. Some IP has mixed in here. Thinking about 3" now and will check later. Cold has been stubborn...could be the first <32F high of the season. Just sitting a little under 31F at the moment.

    25.0 this morning...coldest so far. Not sure this winter will be much better than the last several but I do like that we've only been above 60F (61) once so far this month whereas last year we did that six times in the first half. Three of those were above 70F. Maybe a good sign?

    Someone had a premonition when they wrote the title of this thread...yikes. Coldest morning of the season today...got to 27.6. Looking forward to some wintery vibes but don't expect anything notable until 12/15 or later. The early model fantasies never seem to pan out.

    29.7...first <30 of the season. Getting the roof replaced early Dec most likely so now it's guaranteed to turn cold and stormy to mess things up.
