  1. 91 now. Day 4.
  2. 87/78 (HI 100), high so far is 89 but it’s cloudy now, don’t know if we’ll get to day 4.
  3. Outflow boundary was clearly visible when it passed through, even though the sky’s fully cloudy. 80/74 now. Had a few raindrops. Feels tropical.
  4. 94 here, already above yesterday’s high of 92.
  5. I remember my first time experiencing these in the Rockaways. One of the more extreme events had the temperature go from the low 90’s to the low/mid 70’s almost instantly, trees blowing around and people running away with their beach stuff in tow, one of the few times I actually felt cold in the summer months.
  6. High of 89, HI high of 101.
  7. 87/76 (HI 98), possible first 90 and first 100 HI today.
  8. Topped out at 86 here, low was 69. Currently 81 (HI 85).
  9. Very mid for a severe warned storm (first of the year for central/eastern LI?). I’ll probably finish with a quarter of an inch.
  10. In Stony Brook and I see convection underway to south towards the Atlantic. Was 87 but now 82 with the increased cloud cover.
  11. In Hauppauge, looks like something’s trying to pop out east.
  12. Some strong gusts for the last half hour or so ahead of this line.
  13. Every time I hear the Blue Angels I think it’s thunder. I’m pretty far away from ISP, I’m surprised I can hear them. 79 here, had a brief shower this morning that has now evaporated.
  14. 77/71 currently, high was 78, roughly an inch of rain, rates peaked at over 3 inches per hour.
  15. Tiny cell dumping rain here in north-central Suffolk.
  16. Topped out at 87 here, second highest temp of the year, already cooled down to 74, perfect weather today.
  17. Same. Even average would be nice to have this time of year. We can barely get a string of 70’s going, May is just constant 50/60’s and wet/gloomy with a handful of 80/90’s interspersed, averaging out to 70-something.
  18. Sun fighting to come out in Commack, still drizzling though.
  19. I sure hope we see something tonight. I need something after the total eclipse miss.
  20. It’s fine on Christmas but not in the middle of May.
  21. Not sure, sky was clear to the north for hours and then the clouds started moving south out of the area.
  22. Clouds breaking up here in Riverhead.
  23. I can’t see anything, but my drone certainly did. I’m shocked. It didn’t even appear on my phone’s screen while flying the drone, sky was pitch black so I aimed it north hoping to catch something, I only saw it afterwards. I technically can’t count this as a sighting as I can’t see it, it’s cloudy over Long Island but clearer to the north, but this is my first time ever catching it on camera.
  24. Made it to 58 today. Gross but warmer than expected.
