89 here, already surpassed yesterday’s high of 88. More humid today as well.

Finishing high school in what was nearly July and starting college in August sucked.

88/56 here. The new sensor for my PWS has been performing well, didn’t really have a temperature issue until recently but the humidity had been running slightly high for years. It’ll be interesting to see if I still get the same nuclear heat indices during high-end heat waves when a sea breeze pushes through.

Got up to 103 here last June and 100 last July, shocked me, I was starting to think deep Long Island couldn’t pull off 100. 105 (in Queens) in July 2011 is still my personal all time highest, it’d be nice to break that eventually. NYC is a disgrace and should be moved to northeastern Central Park where there’s better siting.

Yaphank got blasted. 2 for 2 with the thunderstorms this year. My highly sheltered PWS saw gusts of 35+ mph, the highest since Isaias. Probably 65-70 mph gusts in reality.

First 89 of the year yesterday. Could’ve been the 6th 90+ of the year. Warming up quickly again today, low was 54 and it’s already in the 80’s.

This is the most lighting I’ve seen in several years, and I’m not saying that this storm is impressive, LI just sucks that bad.

70 at my PWS, it’s been sunny all day there, there was an abrupt changeover to heavy fog a few miles to the south, it persisted for hours but has now fully burned off.

It’s crazy how fast the snow is being obliterated vs a few weeks ago. Yesterday morning’s snow was basically gone by that afternoon + some of the blizzard snow that was underneath it. Today the “snowpack” looks about 50-60% of what it was on Monday, outside of the ginormous piles.

Heavy snow here, roads are a mess, this is more than I had anticipated. -
I thought my 16-18” measurements were off when I saw ISP’s almost 30” report, but I’m over here by ISP now and you can see the difference, the piles and drifts are generally much larger. Very difficult storm to measure, my numbers could still be off, I’ve seen similar totals reported close by, but also higher totals nearby. Very high impact storm either way.

8.5 here, lowest so far this winter is 7.7, I think we’ll beat that (unfortunately).

I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced low teens with winds like this. It looks like Siberia with the blowing snow.

Snowpack definitely took a decent hit over the past couple of days, thankfully it wasn’t a heavy wet snow. The piles will probably persist for a while though. 34 here.

February 2015 was followed up with December 2015. I hope that pattern holds. Up to 29 here, I think the streak is toast.
