  1. New Jersey Turnpike = ice road trucker, Southern State/LIE was bone dry. Snow all the way from South Jersey to Coney Island. Car is covered in ice and salt spray, license plate is completely encased, hoping I wasn’t charged any tolls lol. 23/14 here. Zero snow on the ground.
  2. Eyeballing about an inch or so in Burlington. Snowing moderate to heavy. Accumulating everywhere. Temp 27. Camera at home showing nothing yet. Temp 25.
  3. 26/15 split today. Coldest day since Feb 1, 2019 (25/10 hi/lo), 729 days ago, 2 days shy of 2 years. Absolutely dreadful. DP bottomed out at exactly 0. Currently 7.
  4. Trace here. 0.14” event total. 7.9” seasonal snow total. 0.2” January snow total.
  5. 35/31. Large flakes coming down, no accumulation.
  6. Just started here, very brief period of small flurries before turning to mixed snow/sleet. Temp is 35.
  7. Later sunsets becoming noticeable now, sky still blue at almost 5, a month ago it’d be black.
  8. 0.2” here. Fun while it lasted. 36 and sunny now. Previous snowfall was exactly one month ago on Dec 20th, only 0.3” fell then. Last winter I’d already had my last snow for the season on Jan 18th, 2.5” fell on that date.
  9. Absolutely. I’ll take this all winter long. Precisely. I wish this was our normal climo.
  10. How can anyone hate calm and sunny low/mid 40’s?! I mean, I’d much rather have 60’s right now, but it’s the dead of winter and it still feels very much alive outside.
  11. Sleeting here. Wasn’t anticipating that. Temp is 38.
  12. Winds picking up here, temp plummeting, down to 50 now. 1.36” event total.
  13. Stepped out of IKEA in Hicksville and it was special effects snowing, perfectly spaced large flakes falling gently. Temp is 33.
  14. I’m a few miles west of ISP and 7.4” sounds kind of high, I just don’t see it (for here, not ISP). Average depth this morning was in the 3 inch range, granted it rained and there was compaction, but still. I’m going to keep it as my total since I don’t have anything else. These types of events are a pain.
  15. 3-4 inches of hard slush here, almost ice but not quite. No real total due to rain and compaction. I’m just gonna go with whatever ISP recorded. I recorded 3.5” at about 8:30 PM, likely snowed for at least 2 hours after that, then temps went above freezing before midnight and stayed above freezing for ~5 hours.
  16. Above freezing here for roughly 5 hours, from 11:50 PM to 4:42 AM, topped out at 34 before crashing, temp is 29 and still plummeting. I didn’t look but I heard what sounded like rain and/or melting snow/sleet. Measuring is going to be a nightmare, if not impossible.
  17. 3.5” here. 29°F with moderate to heavy snow and gusty winds. First time driving this car in the snow, and I’ve had it for over a year. I had a windshield cover sitting in the trunk unopened, waiting for this day.
