I genuinely feel LGA is going to see a low of 90°F within the next decade. If not 90°F I at least expect the current record of 86°F to fall sooner rather than later, considering LGA has done it thrice already.

Still hot here though, the heat index topped out at 102 with a high temp of “only” 88. I get the feeling that this is going to be a summer full of 89’s here.

Topped out at 79 here, DP made it feel a bit hotter than that however. Call me weird but I love the combination of this thick humid air + a nice breeze.

First measurable precip of the day here falling now. Sky is really lighting up to the south over the ocean. Makes no sense why the Atlantic and the LI Sound do so much better with storms than LI itself.

I was on the verge of being clipped by the southern edge of it, and then that part fizzled out lol. Still had some decent thunder and lightning out of it at least. 0.06” here, all light rain.

Impressive thunder with the occasional CTG, looks like it’ll be a near-miss with the torrential rains though.

ISP hit 99 in 2019 with THICK humidity. Dryness certainly helps but it isn’t completely necessary for 100.
