    Currently in the everyone but the Canadian loses the next system timeframe. It's crazy how much better the GGEM has been than the GFS/Euro/UKIE this winter for snow systems.

    I started out with small flakes and sleet/graupel. They got bigger and bigger pretty quickly. Hopefully that happens there. Once the snow gets going it drops the temp nicely. I'd say you'll quickly get to the lower 30s if you can get some decent snowfall rates.

    Back to huge flakes. In the 2 inch per hour type stuff. I guess future radar was right. Hopefully it lasts for a good hour or two.

    Flake size has gotten smaller as the temp is now 31. Still moderate snow. 1.5 inches so far.

    The snow line has been working slowly south on radar. Temp has fallen 4 degrees down in Lafollette.

    Future radar is probably full of itself but it shows some ++SN over my area from about 12:30-2.

    That burst of heavy snow did work in the temps in town. This is around 1300ft.

    Getting big flakes again now. Had been small flakes, sleet and some rain when it lightened up.

    Reports of 4 inches in Middle Tennessee. The GFS has already flunked this one. Looks like the Canadians may win another battle.

    Nickels falling now. This band will move out soon. Hopefully it fills back in tonight. Third snow event of the season and it's the 1st week of January. What a giant improvement over the last few years.

    Temp fell to 33 once it started ripping. It's let up a little now.

    It may stop soon. But right now we are at 2+ inch per hour rates. It's snowing harder than it did at any point in Christmas eve.

    Rapid acceleration to fatties. Ground turning white. This is why I knew MRX was off when talking about ground temps hindering sticking. It was 22 this morning, 36 for the high. It's early January. Ground temps aren't an issue. Especially with goose feathers.
