  1. FOr whatever reason rates are pretty lame right now even with decent echoes overhead.
  2. Yeah it's too bad that it's become more unreliable over the last couple years. I don't really see it better than the GFS anymore.
  3. I think the threshold is 6" in 12 hours so we're pretty close to that.
  4. We have 4-8" statewide and verbalizing highest amounts most likely in the hills WOR.
  5. Yeah one station in CT now does this for every storm. It's bizarre. Just make a forecast and run with it.
  6. What does the "+" mean? I don't really get the open ended bounds or the feathering between contours. But that's just me lol
  7. Might as well lock in 12-24. Can go higher if needed. When are we expecting Kevin to make the pivot to snow/cold?
  8. HRRR looks a bit colder to me compared to 18z. Waiting for the NAM to come in as a furnace again lol.
  9. Euro is definitely colder. Really odd battle here shaping up lol. I do feel like it's different from the typical SWFE look where the globals are slow with the mid level warm layer compared to the mesos. This is just a very different synoptic-scale track of the mid and upper level features.
  10. Almost seems like it's more of a synoptic issue with the track of the mid level lows than a typical meso vs global kind of battle in a SWFE.
  11. A coating-2" is a pretty reasonable call from them IMO.
  12. Could be one of those situations where it's relatively easy to cool to 32F if rates pick up enough.
  13. Put this together for the station's 70th anniversary. I thought some of you might get a kick out of the old video. https://www.nbcconnecticut.com/nbc-connecticut-70-years/a-look-back-at-70-years-of-connecticut-weather/2978249/
