  1. I think that those of us who snowmobile like some of the mix thrown in. It makes a really beefy harder to melt base and lacks nicely when groomed.
  2. Just an inch or so of dense stuff over a coating of ice. PF hit the nail on the head last night when he mentioned how the best stuff might be in the NEK. I saw reports from snowmobile trail groomers of near 6" in the higher elevations.
  3. He mutters incoherently enough already without the MJO chart.
  4. Whatever this turns out to be, it started as sleet/freezing drizzle. We did a 75 mile snowmobile ride and our face shields were icing up from about 8:00 on.
  5. Sam was a kid growing up in Keene, NH who was a whiz at meteorology from the get go. He was a big snow lover but probably a bigger severe lover. He got his degree and the went to Oklahoma for post grad. I think his name here is OKPowdah. He used to draw snow maps that always seemed to have a “phallic” look to the contours. If you look at that clown map, you can see the darker blue shading also has that look.
  6. In the Chic Chocs? Just kidding. I think the riding in the county could go til April without another flake of snow.
  7. hat has to be wrong. There is a small maximum in VT smack dab over me.
  8. The way I look at it is that those rain events were Mother Nature helping us handle all the future snow she’s going to throw at us.
  9. That’s the one the Lowe’s site picks out as my nearest store. It’s like 1 mile closer than South Burlington. No interstate to Littleton though.
  10. Have you made it up to Bolton during your visit? We had plenty of snow in the lowlands but the pack has been beaten down a couple of times. Over 1500’ the depth really starts to grow. Over 2000’ it’s really impressive.
  11. That sort of mirrors my experience JSpin. We were riding Saturday in Washington and Orange. The snow above 2000’ or so didn’t look like it had seen much or any rain.
  12. Beautiful day to be outside today. Did a nice 80 mile snowmobile ride.
  13. I’m confused was that a pic of bxengine?
  14. Granny Cream Ale lol. We got a beer ball of that once. A couple of years ago one of the craft brewers in town did a cream ale for our golf course fundraiser. It was surprisingly good.
  15. Seems like finding used 900 ACEs are like finding a needle in a haystack. I would love to get one but I just can’t bring myself to buy s brand new sled and finding a deal on a used one is pretty tough. Maybe when all the guys who have to have the latest and greatest move up to the 900 Turbo there will be more of the regular ones hitting the market.
  16. Nice pack in the hills just NE of me. This was taken about 15-20 minutes from my house by car, an hour by sled.
  17. I’ve always been more of a Tiger guy than a Phil guy and think things are much more interesting when he’s in the mix. Ernie was really my guy in his prime though. Love watching his swing still. As far as the young guys, I’m with you on Finau. He’s just got to figure out how to close the deal. I’ve liked Koepka too, ever since he decided to start out on the European Tour.
