  1. Please refrain from the “global warming” jabs. Makes you look uneducated.
  2. That’s hurtful for us Dolphins fans
  3. That’s what I was about to ask. I guess this is out of the question for me.
  4. Really could have been just about anywhere on him, since he’s one big
  5. The dog has had a couple but I’ve been surprised not find any on me. I actually think our wildlife marauding cat keeps the rodent population in check around the house to the point that ticks are suppressed somewhat
  6. Those are great gatherings. Craft brews, homegrown and pony-o's as far as the eye can see. You should stop in to one sometime.
  7. I went to Germany for vacation this year. The love is returned
  8. 3” of heavy wet snow. I’m sure it was compacting as it fell. Brought the snowblower out as I figured this would be a good test after the pre-season work I had done to it. Passed with flying colors. People here would be enraged if they saw all that I clear. Paths in the back yard for the dog, all of the driveway, plus an extra parking spot, a path to the oil filler pipe and most of the front yard so I can pull my snowmobile trailer in instead of backing it up. 75% of the front yard is cleared.
  9. JSpin’s hood seems to be the line of demarcation for this event. Just made a Costco run up to Colchester. Left around 12:30, not long after the snow had started here. Roads got covered quickly and almost thought of abandoning the trip but I knew there wouldn’t be much going on as we got closer to the CPV. By the time we got to the Waterbury exit, there was nothing on the road at all and nothing was falling from the sky in Williston, Burlington or Colchester. Same thing in reverse on the way home. Looks like 3” or so of wet, heavy snow and the roads are pretty slick.
  10. Nothing happening here. Looks like there was a little freezing rain overnight as the cars look like there is a glaze on them.
  11. I dunno, the ground had been covered at my house for over a week and we have a WWA up for tomorrow. Not thinking it’s really been a whimper.
  12. Glad I had the snowblower tuned up early this year.
  13. Well we know that’s not right with the 14.3 jackpot right over my ass.
  14. That’s birch bender or birch breaker. Please use the proper alliteration when describing snow storms!
  15. Sad day for winter sports lovers https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2019/11/21/end-jake-burton-was-smart-unflagging-champion-snowboarding/kdCQF7zWR9hq5rcRQiUzpJ/story.html?outputType=amp&event=event12
  16. Gorgeous day here. Bluebird skies and 37° feels great
  17. Picture of my yard this past Saturday
  18. The trails don't open until Dec. 15.
  19. I think there was a problem with the forum. When I logged on, I saw there hadn't been any posts overnight and was going to comment on that but the site wouldn't let me.
  20. After baking under that pig ridge all summer in Nashville, 34° and rain/snow should feel refreshing.
  21. Looked out my window when I read this and noticed it was snow here too.
