  1. If I want to go into our office I have pretty similar requirements as you describe. Schedule my office time on a shared calendar, answer a health survey and wear a mask when away from my desk.
  2. My experience here is much closer to yours. I semi-regularly drive to NH for Home Depot or BJ's and don't notice a whole lot of difference. I'm not sure what is shut down or restricted more in VT than in NH. I also know that I am incredibly lucky. My wife and I can easily work from home and my son goes to school remotely. Other than things like going to the fair or travelling out of state, our lives have been minimally disrupted. Most of the activities we partake in are outdoors such as golf and hiking and have been ongoing. We will notice more as we move into winter since my son and I like to go to college hockey and basketball games.
  3. Pretty much the same way I feel. I've never been a big pot guy. I will say that inhaling any type of smoke cannot not good be good for someone's lungs. If I were to partake, I would lean towards edibles.
  4. I like to see it getting active as we move later into the season. I like to see it build towards snow gradually. I don't need snow yet, at least to the extent some had it this weekend. Overall, it's nice to see precip showing up.
  5. Why do you think I’m joking or are claiming you’re making thinks up? Read my post. All I said is that I haven’t heard any of that happening. Nothing less, nothing more. Sorry you feel this type of tension. I can only speak for myself and my experience.
  6. I haven’t heard of anything like that and haven’t seen it reported anywhere either.
  7. Nice. I read on the website that the weather station will be moved today.
  8. For civilization you cross the river into the big city of Canaan, VT. You used to be able to get to Sherbrooke, PQ easily enough but who knows when that will be available again.
  9. Looks like he’s still there. I thought I heard that he was done. I was probably mixing it up with the Cole’s Pond guy here in VT. That was always a great web cam to watch for snow. 2200’ in the northern Greens. Lots of snow. I’ve seen 4’+ on the ground while snowmobiling in that area. http://www.johnsnhweather.com
  10. John’s Weather is or was a great website that had great obs in that area. I think he’s gone now though. They’ve got be 200” a year. Snowmobiling hot bed.
  11. We saw snow on the ground pretty much right down to the river on our ride. Very little around Wells River/Woodsville but more closer to Littleton.
  12. We turned north on Easton Valley Rd. which is about 10 miles East from 302. It’s a beautiful area and a pretty twisty road for a new driver.
  13. I wanted to but my son said he wasn’t hungry.
  14. By the way, I think I found the flooded yard where Stein drowned in Orange, VT. This is usually a small stream.
  15. Took a mini snow tour this afternoon. Drove northeast from my house over to eastern NH. Started seeing remnants of snow in Topsham and Groton, VT and even saw some still on the ground in Wells River which is right on the Connecticut. From Woodsville, NH we took 112 over towards Lincoln. It didn’t take that long to start seeing more snow. Instead of going all the way to Lincoln we took the road to Franconia and then looped back through Sugar Hill down to Rt. 302 and then home. There was still snow on the ground as we went through Lisbon around 1:30. My wife thinks I’m a bit nuts taking random drives to look at snow. It’s much easier now to say I’m taking my son driving so he can get his required hours in.
  16. Agree. It makes things a little more inconvenient. It sucks setting up snowmobile trails in the snow. Give me more days like yesterday to get things done.
  17. Not garbage time but there comes a time when I like to move on to warm season pursuits.
  18. We just drove through some pretty good rain and impressive lightning on 89 through Brookfield. It was my son’s first time driving in heavy rain. He did well. I felt the car hit a couple of puddles and semi-hydroplane. He handled it well.
  19. I saw the warnings but I’m not home. Saw what looks like some big lighting towards that area though.
  20. I figured I must have missed something because I thought the low was only supposed to be around 35-4°-35°. 28° was a little surprising when I woke up. Looks like MPV got down to 26° and even BTV got in on the act, checking in with 30°
  21. I just assume the radar is missing stuff in eastern VT. You can see it being blocked by the spine and shooting through the Winooski Valley gap towards Montpelier. I always thought MPV would be a great radar site.
