  1. We put our panels in after the roof was redone. When they got here they said they had been worried because the roof had looked pretty poor from the satellite images they had seen. Obviously Google earth was out of date.
  2. Jay Peak sold. https://vtdigger.org/2022/09/08/pacific-group-resorts-makes-highest-bid-for-jay-peak-moves-toward-closing-on-purchase/
  3. When we had to replace the water heater a few years ago, we went with a hybrid. It uses a heat pump along with a standard element to heat the water. The bonus is that the heat pump also acts as a dehumidifier.
  4. Nothing here, just cloudy and cool. 1.49" for the event
  5. How do you think Dendrite pays for his chicken and tree fetishes? He sells pears to Harry and David.
  6. Below normal temps too, if I'm remembering correctly. Anyway, back to this one. Up to 1.41" and still raining.
  7. Up to 1.41" here. Looking at the predictions on my phone app, I thought it would be about half that much. It's a good drink for those who need it. Just means I'm going to have to mow more.
  8. Creeping our way towards an inch. .37 today and .55 yesterday for a total of .92.
  9. .33 here today. Most of the time it was light. Just enough to keep me from going to the golf course.
  10. I went to the fair today too. We were there to see some 80’s bands. Great White and Warrant were actually pretty good. Dokken, not so much lol.
  11. My BIL & SIL are renting a camp on Joe’s Pond in Danville, VT this week. Went up to visit this afternoon. Loons floating out front. The picture isn’t that great but it shows how nice the day was. Also took a pontoon ride with their beagle, Gage.
  12. We rescued our cat when he was like 9-10 weeks old. Tried hard to make him an indoor cat but he just never took to it. We finally made peace with the fact that at some point he probably just won’t come back. He’s gotten beaten pretty good by something twice. One time, he had a big puncture on one side of his spine and three more on the other. I think a hawk or owl grabbed him but he got loose. I don’t know how he made it back to the house. That adventure cost us almost $2000. He’s 10 or 11 now. Oh and we don’t have mice issues around the house.
  13. This sums it up for me too. I’ve always been a player guy in these sports labor disputes. Maybe the PGA needs to make some changes but the way LIV is currently set up holds no appeal to me.
  14. My point was more for statistical comparison sake.
  15. Long sleeves and shorts playing golf this evening. It was 56° with a breeze when I left the course
  16. I guess I haven't seen anything around it really, other than lawsuits from players who left the PGA for LIV but still wanted to play in the PGA playoffs. The biggest thing to me is the shortening of the tournaments. That's like making baseball games 6 innings and claiming a perfect game is still the same.
  17. More fun for who? 54 holes? Shotgun start? What's next? A scramble?
  18. The media hype was pretty big then too. It’s really the first storm I remember making big headlines up here before it hit.
