    Took a quick walk up the road to the local elementary school and measured an average of 25" in the field, accounting for compaction we probably finished with around 27-28" or so here in lindenhurst. Gonna go with 27.5" overall. PNS shows similar totals give or take 3" in sw suffolk. All timer for the island

    Measured 9.7" average just now in Lindenhurst, not sure if it might be over or under measured. Winds gusting probably around 45 mph, legit white out conditions

    Eyeballing like 5-6" on the ground already in lindenhurst, all old snow is mostly melted here besides snow piles. That weenie band was dropping 2-3"/hr rates for a little while there. Winds maybe been gusts to 30 mph max so far

    Solid little event in Lindenhurst, measured just barely under an 2 inches (about 1.9" or so i'd say) with the ruler at around 5:30 am

    Light sleet and freezing drizzle mix now, final snow and sleet accumulation (as long as there isn't any backside snow) was 12.5". Temp 27.0 on the dot

    Added 2 inches of additional sleet and snow in Lindenhurst now since 3 pm, total snow and sleet accumulation is 10.7" now

    Full on sleet here in sw suffolk, 19 F, 8.7" overall of pure snow when i measured at 2:30 taking an average of 10 measurements around the yard. Not sure how accurate due to the 30 mph gusts but theres definitely at least 7.5

    https://imgur.com/a/pwM9YXg Snowing hard in Lindenhurst, its hard to estimate with the winds gusting 25-30 mph but have about 5-5.5" on the ground now was at 3 around 10:30 so some pretty good rates. Temp 15.6 F

    Measured about 3" around half an hour ago in Lindenhurst. Here's to another 10!!!
