At my Aunt's in East Islip for dinner, definitely had some gusts in the 50+ range here, I kept checking to see if a warning was issued but nothing. Most impressive storm on the south shore in a couple years. Up to 1.92" at home

Total rainfall 1.61" in Lindenhurst, 5.30" for the month of july

1.55" and still raining heavily here, fairly frequent lightning for 2 hours now. Had 3.32" on the 6th so over 5.00" now for the month of july

Peaked at 96 (95.6) here in Lindenhurst, down to 89 now. Severe storm looks to miss me to the west or just a glancing blow

Idk if you hit it last year but last time I remember widespread 100s on the south shore was 2011, I peaked at 99 last june and yesterday
