  1. @Jed33 Thanks for the heads up on that disco. Already found something new to me: http://employees.oneonta.edu/blechmjb/jbpages/M361/BUFKITlabs/Bourgouin/Bourgouin2000.pdf
  2. And if we just play it conservatively and use the CMC's depiction of the jet, I would say it yields a trough passage and front, with the potential for a wave to ride it. biggest problem there looks like the Pac jet keeps the trough from amplifying.
  3. Since there is no college football now, might as well watch the GFS's antics: Here's the old FV3 we all know and love! Just having some fun with this one, please don't take it too seriously, it is the GFS after all. New GFS has a (seemingly) suppressed system around this time frame though.
  4. 12 RGEM was a still about where it was overnight, but with a little more umph to it:
  5. 12z NAMs like y'all out that way too. Not a huge difference from overnight runs, so no pics for now.
  6. Something else to keep an eye on, (nothing to get excited about, but interesting). GFS warms the strat again from hour 300 onward: Some renewed warming on the 0z Euro out to hr 240 too:
  7. I think there is room for improvement for folks further N and E in TN, depending on how it interacts with the two pieces of energy I've circled: Those are the two that really screw with it and wring and stretch it out. Without those two, you might have another bowling ball situation.
  8. I hope I don't jinx you @AMZ8990 but hopefully this is one for you.
  9. 12z UKMET for the Monday Tuesday storm: Still looking good fo some of the Mississippi folks.
  10. Yeah agree with tnweathernut. Potential for a surprise, but don't get too hopeful. This one has the potential to look amazing on radar and then fall apart.
  11. Come on NAM, bring it home: 6z Euro looks good for any central and NE MS folks:
  12. I may be doing it the long way. I was trying to get that info to Itchy Algae but was too lazy to go back to that page, lol.
  13. I take a picture and then a take a screenshot of the picture with my phone lol I take a phone pic, then send it to my computer, then upload it to IMGUR. Once you upload it to IMGUR, right click on it and choose "copy image address". You can then just copy that address into the text fields here and the pic will pop up. That way does not count against your max upload size or the total amount you can upload
  14. Looks for Morgan County, it was elevation and location dependent. IMBY we had a SE wind all day yesterday that strengthened at dark and that should have been a clue for me. Here is the SE slope of Lone Mt. 10 min from my house (2500'): But on the N slope: Just north in Wartburg: Further NW I could tell the wind was more out of the NW and there was more snow, but not as much as I thought: Obed scenery: View over Mossy grove from Lone mountain:
  15. Mixing with rain again up here, even though the closest weather station (like a half mile away) says 32.
  16. Just looking at some of the local weather stations, it looks like Lancing and Sunbright were 3 - 5 degrees colder from midnight on.
  17. Yeah, me too. I slept through a lot of it, so there may have been more mixing than when I woke up at 1230. I'm going to drive up toward Scott County after daybreak and see what I see up that way. I was wondering if it was just marginal enough that I got some downsloping off the Frozen Head mts with a NE wind:
  18. It's just now starting to stick. I have a tiny glaze on my decks. Moderate right now and if it keeps this up through daybreak I might swing a dusting.
