Since moving back to Maryland in August 2016, I haven't seen one event in Reisterstown with more than 6" of snow. The drought has to end eventually. -

The antecedent high pressure has trended better on the GFS for the late week event.

At the Greenbrier in WV and the daffodils are already sprouting out of the ground. Was speaking with one of the staff and they said this has been the warmest, most snowless winter she's ever seen. They've only had a few inches of snow in the mountains and it's been so warm the ski resort in town only can keep 2 trails open.

I tend to agree with this...some producer will see a clip from an AFD and then run with it and the meteorological community is cringing on the side.
